Make The Best of Student Life With Oohlala
Great news! NSCECE has a free mobile app to help students find out about campus events, academic information and to connect with NSCECE classmates. Go to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your device and type in NSCECE to download the app. The app will help you organize your student life and includes:
- Academic Calendar 2016-2017
- Textbook List
- Class Schedules
- Campus discussion feeds (share tips, photos, ask questions)
- To Do Lists
You are required to keep us current with your e-mail address, it is the primary way we correspond with you. Using your e-mail address you will be able to access CampusLogin which allows you to view your profile, see your grades, print tax forms and transcripts.
Textbooks are approximately $700.00 for the year — refer to Textbook List 2016-2017 for details on titles. If you are waiting for student loan money, you will need to secure interim financing to pay for books. Textbooks will not be issued without payment.
Included is a practicum letter with detailed information on the requirements needed to participate in this component of the program. An e-mail will be sent to you from myBackCheck.com in order to complete the required vulnerable sector check. You will not be able to begin a practicum placement until all forms are complete and returned to us. Also, there is a practicum package that must be purchased before you begin the practicum modules at a cost of $20.00 which is essential for organizing your practicum experience.
If you are paying by Canada Student Loan, please bring your student loan status report. If you are paying through Skills Development, please bring your signed contract.
Check out the Calendar for fun events/activities planned for you during Registration Week. We look forward to meeting you.
Please note: NSCECE is a scent aware institution. Due to allergic reactions we are also a peanut free environment.
