Summer Night Courses

We still have space in our NSCECE summer night classes. We are offering Introduction to Curriculum on Monday and Wednesday evenings, running from June 11 to August 8. We are also offering Observing and Recording on Wednesday evenings, running from June 13 to August 15. Drop by the college before June 1 if you’d like to register for these classes!

The Leading Edge: Discussion/Support Group for Administrators

The Leading Edge is a discussion and support group for people who have a leadership role in an early childhood program. This facilitated group meets 10:00—Noon on the second Thursday of each month in the NSCECE Resource Centre; this means the next meeting will be this Thursday, May 10. For more information call Carrie Melsom at 423-7114 Ext. 227.

Graduation Ceremony

The graduation ceremony for NSCECE’s class of 2012 will be held at the Atlantica Hotel on Wednesday, May 2. Congrats, grads! We look forward to seeing you and your friends and family Wednesday evening.

Information Session

We’re having another information session this Thursday, April 26, at 6:00 p.m. here at the college. If you’re interested in finding out more about NSCECE and our program come on out and we’ll answer any questions you might have. Just call 423-7114 to sign up. And if you’re interested in coming but aren’t able to attend this time, you can also call to find out when we’ll be having more sessions.

Grad Dates To Remember…

Graduation is almost here! The official NSCECE list of graduates for 2012 will be posted on Tuesday, May 1 in the Student Lounge. Gowns will be available to rent for photographs from April 16 – April 24; a $20 cash deposit is required and will be refunded when the gown is returned. Admission tickets for the graduation ceremony will be available after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24. Two complimentary tickets will be given to each graduate and additional tickets can be requested for $15.00 each.
