Dear 2nd Year Students
I hope your summer is going well, and you are enjoying some well-deserved (relaxing) time away from your studies. I anticipate the next year of your studies will prove to be stimulating and successful as you work towards graduation. Below you will find some information to help you prepare for your second year of study.
Second Year Students
|Student Registration||August 20-24||Monday, Tuesday and Friday open 9:30 am to 3:30 pm|
Wednesday and Thursday open 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
|College is open to student for registering, paying tuition, purchasing textbooks and taking ID photos. Backpacks and IDs will not be released until the student fee of $125.00 is paid.|
|$5987 per year; $2993 Fall semester|
|Cheques, money orders (payable to Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education), cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal or student loan confirmation are acceptable.|
|September 4||10:00 am to 12:00 pm|

Professionalism and Advocacy
|Practicum Orientation||September 13||10:00 am to 12:00 pm||Attendance is required.|
|Student Extravaganza!||September 12||11:00 am start time||Fun activities at the Commons; followed by Pizza lunch|
Textbooks will cost approximately $500.00 for the year. If you are waiting for student loan money you will need to secure interim financing to pay for your books. Textbooks will not be issued without payment

You are required to keep us current with your e-mail address, as it is the primary way we correspond with you. Using your e-mail address, you will be able to access CampusLogin which allows you to view your profile, view your grades and attendance, communicate with instructors and print tax transcripts or tax forms. Notify the office at firstname.lastname@example.org to update.

There is a practicum orientation on September 13th which you are required to attend.
If you are paying by Canada Student Loan, please bring your student loan status report.If you are paying through Skills Development, please bring your signed contract.
Please note, NSCECE is a scent aware institution. Due to allergic reactions we are also peanut free.
