“The Skin We’re In”: Exploring Diversity Through Colour
November 13, 2018
Art materials and paint can be wonderful tools for exploring diversity with children. In this session you will have to opportunity to explore this topic through hands on experiences with paint and other “art” materials; as well as, through fine art and children’s book illustrations. During this session you will have the opportunity to create your own set of culturally diverse wooden peg people and we will consider how these new peg people can be used to support learning in your classroom.
