NSCECE is offering a three-part workshop series this spring which is sure to be of interest if you work with toddlers!

Part 1 — Developmentally Appropriate Physical Environments

In this session participants will focus on what toddlers like, do, and need and on how toddler learning environments can support autonomy, self-concept, movement, self-help, and sensorimotor exploration.

Part 2 — Developmentally Appropriate Social/Emotional Environments

This session will focus on the social/emotional issues of  toddlerhood; developmentally appropriate interactions; and ways toddler teachers can foster positive emotional development and behaviour.

Part 3 — Developmentally Appropriate Cognitive, Language, Literacy Environments

In this session participants will learn about six principles for teaching toddlers and methods for supporting their learning and development.
